A brand-new, unused, unopened item whoever dues to storage condition the rubber coating on the dryer will show some discoloration ( primarily turned white ) the rubber can be wiped and discoloring can be removed as shown in the opened sample in picture .

We opened a sample and the rubber color was all white, after wiping it with a towel and hot water it come as the result in picture above , more wiping would clear all the white color on the rubber.
